Attendants are trained and assessed on patient handling, spinal immobilization and coordinating with emergency medical services.

Important: Your Transportation Endorsement is only valid while you also hold a current, unexpired first aid certificate — WSBC-recognized (Basic, Intermediate, or higher) or an approved equivalent. If your first aid certificate lapses, your Transportation Endorsement is no longer valid until it is renewed.
