Terms of service

These terms apply when you use this website, book or attend training with Alpha Training Solutions (“Alpha”, “we”), or rely on a credential we issue. By booking a course or creating an account you agree to them. If you are booking on behalf of others, you confirm you’re authorized to provide their information and accept these terms for the booking.

1. Our services

We deliver workplace safety training in person, online, and in blended formats — including courses taught one-on-one by our AI instructor under the supervision of Alpha’s human instructors. Course content, schedules, pricing, and instructors may change; if a session you booked is cancelled or materially changed, we’ll rebook you or make it right.

2. Booking and payment

• A seat is reserved when you receive a confirmation email. Card payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
• Invoicing is available to approved company accounts. Invoices are payable on the stated terms; overdue accounts may lose invoicing privileges.
• Quoted prices exclude GST unless stated otherwise.

3. Cancellations and rescheduling

Plans change — tell us as early as you can by replying to your confirmation email or calling (250) 787-9315, and we’ll move or cancel your seat. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged, and seats are transferable to another person from your organization at no cost. If we cancel a session, you owe nothing and anything already paid is refunded or applied to a rebooking — your choice.

4. Training and certification

• Certificates and records are issued only when the course’s requirements are genuinely met — including attendance, assessments, and any practical evaluation. Names must match government-issued ID.
• For courses owned by another certifying body, our document is a record of trainingthat supplements — never replaces — the provider’s own credential.
• Blended courses require the online portion to be completed before the in-class session; learners who haven’t completed it may be turned away and treated as a late cancellation.
• Completing a course does not authorize you to perform work. Authorization to enter a confined space, work at heights, or perform any regulated task comes from your employer’s program, procedures, and applicable law — never from a training credential alone.

5. AI-delivered instruction

Some courses are taught by an AI instructor. Grading is performed by an independent assessment pass, sessions are logged and quality-reviewed, and every learner can dispute any content or grade — disputes are reviewed by a real Alpha instructor. While we engineer these courses to a high standard, no AI is perfect; where an error affects a learner’s result, we correct the record and provide any needed re-instruction at no cost.

6. Your conduct

Assessments must be your own work — impersonation, pasted answers, or other dishonesty can void a result or credential. Treat our staff, instructors, and other learners with respect; we can remove anyone who makes training unsafe or abusive, without refund.

7. Website and content

This site’s content — course materials, text, design, certificates, and verification pages — belongs to Alpha or its licensors and may not be copied or reused commercially without permission. Certificate verification at alpha-training.ca/verify is provided for legitimate verification purposes only.

8. Liability

Training supports — but does not replace — your and your employer’s legal duties under occupational health and safety law. To the maximum extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to a course or this website is limited to the amount paid for the course concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date above tells you when they last changed. Questions? Contact us or call (250) 787-9315.
