Formerly OFA Level 2First aid course names explainedWSBCAccepted in BC workplacesThis one-day blended Intermediate First Aid course combines online study with in-class training to teach the latest first aid and CPR guidelines that meet legislative requirements. Learners are trained and assessed on emergency response, wound and injury care, and sudden medical emergencies, earning a three-year certification in Intermediate First Aid, CPR, and AED. It is designed for those taking intermediate first aid for the first time. Once you register for the course, you will receive an email from Canadian Red Cross (not Alpha Training Solutions) with your online course access information.

How long is Intermediate First Aid good for?

How is the course delivered?
It's blended: the theory is completed online at your own pace, followed by a short in-person session to practise and be assessed. Less time off work, same certification.
Can Intermediate First Aid be done online?
Partly. You complete the theory online at your own pace, then practise and are assessed in person.
What was Intermediate First Aid called before?
