First aid course names explainedAn advanced CPR course (CPR-HCP) built for people working, or planning to work, in health care. It covers emergency response and CPR for adults, children and infants, including two-rescuer techniques and bag-valve mask use. Can be taken on its own or combined with Standard First Aid.

Minimum age 16 · Government-issued photo ID · Modest clothing (no sleeveless tops) and socks · Physically able to perform floor work

To receive your credentials you must attend and complete the entirety of the course and complete all the necessary components as required by the course provider.

Alpha lists BLS and BLS Recertification as valid for 1 year. 1 year. Renew before it expires with the recertification course. Once it has expired, take the full course. Check your own dates →
