Basic Chainsaw Safety
A hands-on course that trains and assesses workers to safely fell trees under 6 inches in diameter at stump height. It covers chainsaw parts, maintenance, safe operating techniques and accident prevention. Learners bring their own chainsaw and PPE.

Prerequisites
At least 16 years of age · Bring appropriate PPE, outdoor clothing and a chainsaw
Completion & certification
To receive your credentials you must attend and complete the entirety of the course and complete all the necessary components as required by the course provider.
