Basic First Aid is the entry level of workplace first aid certificate in B.C. and Alberta.

Intermediate First Aid is the middle level of workplace first aid certificate in B.C. and Alberta.

Advanced First Aid is the highest level of workplace first aid certificate, for attendants at larger, high-risk or remote workplaces.

The Transportation Endorsement is a 1-day add-on for B.C. Basic or Intermediate first aid attendants that covers caring for and moving an injured worker to medical aid.

OFA Level 1 (Occupational First Aid Level 1) is the old B.C. name for what has been called Basic First Aid since November 1, 2024.
