When does my S-100 expire?

The rules behind this

Certification is valid for 12 months from the date of issue on the certificate.
To take the S-100A renewal you must have passed the S-100 or an S-100A in the previous year, and renewals must be taken every year in a row — no gap.
If a renewal is missed, certification is void and the full S-100 is required.
S-100 certification is valid for five years. After five years the full S-100 must be completed again, regardless of S-100A history.
The full course is 24 hours (12 classroom, 12 field) and now includes S-185 fire entrapment avoidance. It meets section 26.3.1 (Forestry Operation Fire Fighting) of B.C.’s Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
