Out-of-province first aid certificate (OOJ)
OOJ means out-of-jurisdiction: a certificate from another province or territory that we convert for BC. Give us the details of your current certificate and pay here. The only in-person step left is the pickup.
Four steps. The first three you can do from anywhere — the only in-person part is picking your certificate up. OOJ certificates are issued in British Columbia only.
Before you start
Is your certificate a workplace first aid certificate?
We can only issue an OOJ certificate if your current certificate is one that the regulator of the issuing province accepts as workplace first aid certification. A community or recreational first aid or CPR certificate doesn’t qualify — and we can’t issue against one, even after you’ve completed the package and paid.
