ATV Safety - Blended

This blended ATV operator training program is designed to meet the needs of industrial employers across Canada, with a focus on regulatory compliance, practical operator competency, and minimal disruption to operations. The program delivers the same depth of instruction and skill expectations as a traditional full-day classroom course, while allowing theory to be completed online and practical skills to be evaluated on site. The online component provides foundational knowledge on ATV design, stability, terrain hazards, inspections, and safe operating principles. This allows in-person assessment time to focus on demonstrating real-world competency rather than covering basic theory. Workers complete training without extended time away from work, while employers maintain consistent safety standards. The course follows the full occupational ATV operating workflow, from pre-operation planning through active operation, transport, and post-task reporting. Content is structured to reflect how incidents actually occur in the field and how they are prevented through informed decision-making and controlled operation.
