Oilfield Driver Awareness (ODA)

Valid: 3 years
Be at least 16 years of age

This one-day course is intended for professional drivers and workers who drive in oilfield driving environments.The owner or senior manager of a company holding a Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) who needs to maintain their SECOR status by completing a qualifying course related to health and safety.

Take part in a written exam
Gain knowledge to improve your on-road driving behaviours and better understand the factors that influence driver attitudes.
This course is approved by Alberta Transportation as a Professional Driving Improvement Course (PDIC). Participants with an Alberta Operator’s License who receive 80% or better on the written examination are eligible for a reduction of up to three demerit points from their driving record from Alberta Transportation through any Alberta registries agent
