Course Outline: Our workplace integrated Forklift Operator training program has been designed for those who are required to be trained to safely undertake work activities that involve the operation of a forklift. This program uses a mix of training theory and practical lift truck operation to provide the driving skills needed to meet the CSA Standard B335-94 Industrial Lift Truck Operation.
This course will provide you with a forklift operator certificate that is recognized by WorkSafeBC. You will be required to have 100% attendance, participate in skill demonstration, and complete a written exam and achieve a grade of 75% or higher.
Our forklift operator training program is for any employee who may be expected to complete work-related tasks that expose them to danger when working on or around forklift. The program teaches the information every employee needs to know in order to avoid accidental exposure when performing work related tasks.
Students will spend the morning in the classroom learning background information, legislation, basic principals of safe operation, load handling, and miscellaneous systems and issues.
