Confined Space – Pre-Entry, Entry & Rescue Awareness

Length of Course: 6-8 hours
Certification: Alpha Training Solutions
Valid: 3 years
Prerequisites:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Government Issued Photo I.D.
  • PPE - hard hat, coveralls, steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses
  • Wear modest clothing (no tank tops) for working in close contact with other students
  • Be fit apt to perform practical course related activities 

This innovative training program provides a comprehensive understanding of confined spaces in the workplace, the legislation that governs them and the hazards associated with entering them.

This program explains the concepts, procedures and tools that are necessary for safe entry into confined spaces. It includes exercises that help students relate the course content to their own workplace and the specific conditions they may encounter.

  • Written Procedures (ie. entry permits)

  • PPE
  • Communication
  • Emergency Exit Procedures
  • Rescue Procedure Awareness

As part of the course, you will:

  • Take part in a written exam
